STRATFORD – The Stratford STAR men’s basketball league continued play Sunday with seven games.
High-scoring honors went to Dan Weinfurtner of T-Bangers, who scored 40 points in his team’s 142-84 rout of L&N Hardwoods. Aaron Linzmeier added 38 points for T-Bangers, and Josh Franklin led L&N with 39 points.
Mike Reimer scored 25 points to lead Victory Apparel to a 90-80 win over Festival Foods. Nick Sternitzky led Festival with 30 points.
Jake Frombach scored 22 points and Brandon Chrouser added 21 as Down Under beat Bro’s 84-77. Chris Newburry had 23 points for Bro’s.
Crew Entertainment beat Marawood Construction 97-34 behind 25 points from Andy Bliven and 22 points from Tony Shultz.
Chris Hannula scored 36 points and Jim Flink had 29 to lead Smazel’s Hunters Choice to a 104-70 win over The Shack. Ryan Bloom led The Shack with 21 points.
Lou Jansen had 31 points in DFF Kitchen Cabinets 82-59 win over Resource Recovery.
Selma’s defeated Rozellville Lions 88-45. No leading scorers were provided.
