BARABOO – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team saw its win streak snapped as it dropped a 60-55 decision at UW-Baraboo on Wednesday night.
Jake Scheppler scored 17 points, Cullen Haldeman added 12 and Jesse Bejcek chipped in 11 for the Marauders.
Marshfield led 29-28 at halftime but couldn’t hold on and lost the tight battle to fall to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference.
The Marauders are off until next Wednesday, Dec. 7, when they host UW-Rock County at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of a women’s-men’s doubleheader.
