Marshfield JV boys basketball team has six-game win streak snapped by Wisconsin Rapids

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield JV boys basketball team had its six-game win streak snapped, losing 42-36 to Wisconsin Rapids on Friday night at Marshfield High School.

Marshfield (7-5, 2-4 Wisconsin Valley Conference) was within a point at 25-24 heading into the fourth quarter, but was outscored 17-12 over the final 8 minutes.

Jeff Allison and Craig Serchen each scored eight points to lead the Tigers.

Marshfield hosts La Crosse Logan on Tuesday.
