Marshfield JV boys basketball team uses strong fourth quarter to beat Merrill

MARSHFIELD – Alex Strege scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead the Marshfield JV boys basketball team to a 36-27 win over Merrill on Friday night at Marshfield High School.

The Tigers won for the eighth time in their last nine games to improve to 9-5 and 3-4 in the WVC.

Marshfield outscored Merrill 9-2 in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

The Tigers play at Wausau West on Tuesday.
