Marshfield sophomore Darian Molter was named as the Wisconsin Valley Conference girls soccer player of the year for the second straight season as the all-conference team was announced.
Molter, a forward, was one of three unanimous first-team all-WVC selections, along with Stevens Point midfielder Jen Hoerter and Wisconsin Rapids midfielder Morgan Elzinga.
Marshfield junior forward Alison Gruen also was named to the first team.
Senior forward Emily Wolfe was the Tigers’ lone second-team all-conference selection, and senior goalkeeper Jala Zahn, junior midfielder Maddie Smith, junior defender Leah Cherney and senior defender Emily Haws were honorable mention picks for Marshfield.
Marshfield finished 6-6 and in third place in the conference standings behind Stevens Point (11-1) and D.C. Everest (10-1-1).
