Stratford’s Jenessa Denfeld and Sara Griesbach were both unanimous first-team choices on the 2012 All-Marawood Conference South Division softball team.
Auburndale senior Stacy Brokish also was chosen to 10-person first team.
Denfeld, a senior, hit .440 with 14 RBIs, and Griesbach batted .378 and led the conference with two home runs and 23 RBIs.
Brokish batted .500 with seven doubles and 11 RBIs for Auburndale.
Auburndale sophomore Kendra Kundinger and Stratford’s Sam Frombach and Hannah Schmitt were second-team selections.
Heather Nigh and Camille Swart of Auburndale, and Hailey Hayes and Liz Krum of Stratford were among the honorable mention selections.
Brianna Jankowski of Wausau Newman Catholic was named South Division player of the year, while Newman coach Chad Thurs was named the coach of the year.
