MARSHFIELD – Hannah Kruse made a basket at the buzzer to lift the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team to a 28-27 win over Rib Lake in the teams’ season openers Tuesday at Columbus Catholic High School.
Elizabeth Manlick led the Dons with 18 points.

Columbus Catholic will play at the Cranberry Classic at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption this weekend. The Dons play Assumption at 1:30 p.m. Friday and Pittsville at noon on Saturday.
