MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team’s season came to an end Saturday with a 62-48 loss to Cochrane-Fountain City in a WIAA Division 5 regional final at Columbus Catholic High School.
The Dons finish the season with an 18-7 record. Following a 5-4 start, Columbus won 13 of its last 16 games.
Cochrane-Fountain City (19-6) moves on to a Division 5 sectional semifinal Thursday at Neillsville. The Pirates play the winner of Monday’s regional final between Elmwood and Eleva-Strum.
