Marshfield’s Bo Howard named to first team, Daulton Varsho to second team of 2013 WBCA all-state baseball team

Marshfield senior Bo Howard was named District II Player of the Year and selected as a first-team infielder on the 2013 Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association All-State Team, which was released Friday.

Howard, the Wisconsin Valley Conference Player of the Year, batted .517 this season for the Tigers.

Marshfield junior catcher Daulton Varsho was named to the second team after hitting .406.

Kimberly pitcher Scott Schreiber, a junior, was named the state Player of the Year after going 10-0 with a 0.86 earned run average.

Stratford’s Ryan Bloom was named District II assistant coach of the year.
