MARSHFIELD – Daulton Varsho had a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Marshfield Legion baseball team to a wild 19-18 win over Wisconsin Rapids in a Wisconsin Valley Legion League game Sunday at Jack Hackman Field.
Jeron Hiller had six hits in the victory for Marshfield (2-1).
Cale Cuddie earned the win in relief for the Blue Devils.
Marshfield returns to action with another league game at Wausau on Wednesday.
