LA CROSSE – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County women’s basketball team dropped a 76-40 decision to Western Technical College on Wednesday.
Marshfield (1-2) was outscored 41-16 in the second half after trailing by nine points at halftime.
The Marauders shot just 24.6 percent (15 of 61), was 0-for-17 from 3-point range and committed 25 turnovers in the loss.
Taylor Lynn had 14 points and Corina Craig added seven points and 12 rebounds for UW-Marshfield/Wood County.
Melissa Williams had 13 points, 12 rebounds and five assists, and Carolyn Greene had a game-high 20 points for WTC.
The Marauders start Wisconsin Collegiate Conference West Division play on Nov. 13 at UW-Marathon County in Wausau.
