OWEN – Huge first and third quarters led the Owen-Withee girls basketball team to a 64-40 win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Monday night at Owen-Withee High School.
Owen-Withee outscored Spencer 20-6 in the first quarter and 22-5 in the third to pull out to a 32-point lead.
Spencer outrebounded O-W 23-16 but had 22 turnovers and was 1 of 5 from the free throw line. The Blackhawks made 14 of 22 free throws.
Bailey Karaba had 26 points to lead Owen-Withee (12-2, 10-2 Cloverbelt East).
