AUBURNDALE – Athens scored four runs in the final two innings to defeat Auburndale 8-4 in a nonconference baseball game Tuesday at Auburndale High School.
Paul Willfahrt had three of Auburndale’s seven hits and drove in a pair of runs for the Apaches (3-8).
Wyatt Weiler added two hits and an RBI for Auburndale.
Auburndale plays at Northland Lutheran on Thursday and hosts Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Friday in a pair of Marawood Conference South Division games.
