GREENWOOD – Lindsey Schultz and McKenna Immerfall had Marshfield Columbus Catholic’s only two hits as the Dons’ season came to an end with an 18-0 loss to Greenwood in a WIAA Division 4 softball regional quarterfinal on Thursday.
Columbus Catholic (0-14) struck out nine times in the loss.
Abby Baierl allowed 12 hits and four walks, and all 18 runs in four innings of the five-inning loss.
Greenwood (11-5) moves on to a regional semifinal Tuesday at Thorp.
