Kienan McIntee tosses three-hit shutout as Columbus Catholic baseball beats Augusta

MARSHFIELD – Kienan McIntee tossed a complete-game, three-hit shutout to lift the Marshfield Columbus Catholic baseball team to a 1-0 win over Augusta in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Thursday.

McIntee struck out seven and did not walk a batter to pick up the victory for the Dons (8-8 overall and Cloverbelt East).

The Dons scored the game’s only run in the bottom of the seventh inning on an RBI single by Jeremy Binder.

Augusta is now 6-12 overall and 6-8 in the Cloverbelt East.

Columbus hosts Neillsville next Wednesday at Jack Hackman Field.
