Spencer won its third-straight Cloverbelt Conference East Division championship in dominant fashion, losing just three games in going a perfect 7-0.
The Rockets were rewarded with five selections to the 2014 All-Cloverbelt Conference East Division Team.
Junior hitter Macie Weber and senior setter Brooke Kettleborough were selected to the first team, while senior hitter Abby Varsho was a second-team pick, and sophomore Courtney Buss and senior Marisa Johnson earned honorable mention accolades.
“I am very proud of our selections,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “I do feel all of our players could start on most teams. Brooke and Macie are great choices for the first team, and Abby really worked hard to play in the middle this year after two years on the right side. Any time you are recognized by your peers you should be proud.”
Marshfield Columbus Catholic had a pair of all-conference picks. Sophomore Kendra Baierl, the Dons’ top kill threat, was chosen to the second team, while sophomore libero Sierra Litwatis was an honorable mention choice.
