STRATFORD – The Stratford wrestling team opened its 2015-16 season with a dominant performance and a 5-0 record at its home Schoenherr Duals on Saturday at Stratford High School.
Stratford lost only six matches the entire day as it rolled in each dual meet.
The Tigers defeated Chequamegon 84-0, Medford 66-12, Phillips 76-3, Chippewa Falls 79-0, and Wautoma/Wild Rose 62-15.
Going 5-0 for Stratford were Macey Kilty (106 pounds), Jake Drexler (113), A.J. Schoenfuss (120), Jeremy Schoenherr (126), Jordan Becker (138), Sam Wenzel (145), Mason Kauffman (152), Dave Marquardt (160), Kam Bornbach (182), and Tyson Kauffman (285).
Stratford returns to action Dec. 12 at the Neenah Invitational.
