Spencer boys basketball drops Cloverbelt crossover to Fall Creek

SPENCER – Fall Creek used a 10-point advantage at the free throw line to hold off Spencer 67-62 in a Cloverbelt Conference East-West boys basketball crossover on Thursday night at Spencer High School.

Bobby Pilz scored 20 points, Ryan Busse added 12, and Jack Bezlyk chipped in 10 for the Rockets in the Cloverbelt fifth-place crossover.

Fall Creek was 15 of 20 at the free throw line, while Spencer went 5 of 9.

Spencer (14-8) will host Crandon in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
