Columbus Catholic girls basketball blasts Granton, wins fourth straight

GRANTON – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls basketball team won its fourth-straight game, dominating Granton 53-12 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Thursday night at Granton High School.

The Dons ran out to an astounding 41-0 lead by halftime on their way to the 41-point victory.

Columbus Catholic is now 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the Cloverbelt East.

Marissa Immerfall had 17 points and Addison Baierl added 10 for Columbus.

The Dons host Northland Lutheran in a nonconference game Tuesday and return to Cloverbelt East action Dec. 8 at home against Owen-Withee.
