Neillsville volleyball holds off Spencer

NEILLSVILLE – Neillsville stayed within striking distance of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division lead with a 3-1 win over Spencer in girls volleyball action Tuesday night at Neillsville High School.

The Warriors won 18-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-13.

Neillsville is now 5-1 in the Cloverbelt East, one win behind Columbus Catholic in the standings with one match remaining. The Warriors play at Owen-Withee and Columbus Catholic is at Spencer on Thursday to end the conference season.

Heavyn Kind had 13 kills and 24 digs, Jorie Meyer added 10 kills, Alexa Stange had three service aces and 11 digs, and Hallie Meyer had 17 assists for Spencer (0-6 Cloverbelt East).
