Mosinee outslugs Stratford baseball

STRATFORD – Mosinee scored multiple runs in four different innings and defeated Stratford 10-6 in a nonconference baseball game Friday at the Tiger Stadium Baseball Field.

Stratford falls to 15-3 this season, with two of its losses coming to Mosinee (20-2).

Trevor Garski had three hits, two RBI and scored three times, and Drake Grod drove in three runs for Mosinee.

Stratford was held to four hits in the loss, two from Cam Daul, who drove in three of the Tigers’ six runs.

Mosinee can finish off an outright Great Northern Conference championship with a win against Rhinelander at home on Monday.

Stratford will host Rosholt for a nonconference game Monday.
