WAUSAU – The Marshfield boys swim team won all 11 races and rolled to a 133-38 victory over Wausau East in its Wisconsin Valley Conference dual meet finale Thursday at Horace Mann Middle School.
Simon Dagit, Henry Hilbelink and Kyle Berres each won two individual races and were part of two winning relay teams for the Tigers, who finish the Valley dual meet season with a 5-3 record.
Dagit won the 200-yard medley in 2:21.08 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.23; Berres was first in the 100 butterfly (57.91 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (1:04.24), and Hilbelink won the 50 freestyle (24.33) and the 100 freestyle (54.17) for Marshfield.
Dagit, Berres and Hilbelink teamed with Carson Klumb to win the 200 medley relay in 1:55.78, and with Zander Edmundson to earn the victory in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:40.79 as well for Marshfield.
Marshfield’s other wins came from Klumb, Buth, Edmundson and Carlos Koehn won the 400 freestyle relay in 4:05.58, Koehn in the 200 freestyle in 2:12.96, and Hayden Nelson in the 500 freestyle in 6:17.44.
Marshfield will be off until the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet at Wisconsin Rapids on Feb. 2.
