Auburndale track finishes with 15 top-eight finishes at Bangor Open

BANGOR – The Auburndale boys won a pair of events and had 12 top-eight finishes in all at the Bangor Open Track Invitational on Tuesday at Bangor High School.

Mason White Eagle won the high jump with a leap of 5 feet, 6 inches, and Lucas Yeske won the long jump with a jump of 19-4½ for the Eagles.

Team scores were not reported.

Yeske also finished second in the discus with a throw of 126-1, and Ian Grosskopf was second in the 1,600 meters (4:57.13) and third in the 800 (2:11.01) for Auburndale.

Keegan Empey took fourth in the triple jump (36-3½), Adam Dorshorst took fourth in the discus (114-4) and five in the shot put (42-5½), and Adam Kundinger took sixth in the 800 (2:19.78) as well for Auburndale.

Lilly Hasenorhl took fourth in the discus (86-2) and the shot put (29-1), and Shea Fabisiak was fourth in the long jump (14-9¾) for the Auburndale girls

Auburndale will be back in action next Tuesday, April 18, at the Neillsville Invitational.
