WAUSAU – The Marshfield girls tennis team’s No. 2 doubles team of Jenny Madden and Martha Kupfer advanced to the sectional by winning matches on Monday at the WIAA Division 1 subsectional at Wausau East High School.
Madden and Kupfer improve to 16-8.
Individual match results were not provided.
Madden and Kupfer will take part in the Division 1 sectional at D.C. Everest on Thursday. The top four finishers at No. 1 and the winner of the No. 2 bracket in both singles and doubles will advance to the 2014 WIAA Girls Tennis Individual State Tournament in Madison on Oct. 16-18.
