MADISON – The 2015 WIAA State Boys & Girls Hockey Tournaments will be played March 5-7 at Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
Boys quarterfinals will be played Thursday, with boys and girls semifinals Friday and the state championship games on Saturday afternoon. The girls championship starts at noon and the boys title match is at approximately 2:30 p.m. Both games will be televised on WAOW-TV 9.
The Wausau West boys will be making its sixth-straight tournament appearance and 15th overall. The Warriors won the state tournament in 2011.
The Central Wisconsin Storm, the co-op of D.C. Everest, Mosinee, Wausau East and Wausau East high schools, is making its eighth-straight girls tournament appearance. The Storm won state titles in 2008 and 2012.
