AUBURNDALE – Cam Ertl threw a two-hit, complete-game shutout as the Auburndale baseball team whipped Northland Lutheran 9-0 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Monday at Auburndale High School.
The Apaches (6-3, 4-3 Marawood South) scored four times in the second inning and added five more in the sixth to pull away for the win.
Logan Willfahrt and Cason Schmutzer each had two hits, and Ryan Isaacson had a pair of RBIs for Auburndale.
Auburndale hosts Pittsville on Tuesday.
