Neillsville downs Auburndale in WIAA Division 4 girls basketball regional final

NEILLSVILLE – The Auburndale girls basketball team’s season came to an end Saturday with a loss to No. 1 seed Neillsville 59-26 in a WIAA Division 4 regional final at Neillsville High School.

The No. 4 seed Eagles were held to just 10 made field goals in the loss and finish the season with a 16-10 record.

Sidney Wolff scored eight points to lead Auburndale.

Neillsville (22-4) moves on to a sectional semifinal against Westfield (23-3) on Thursday at Stevens Point.
