WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Laney Pankratz allowed just two hits and struck out 10, and went 4-for-4 at the plate, to lead the Stratford softball team to a 5-2 win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption on Monday at Robinson Park.

Carly Pankratz led off the game with a double and scored on an error, and Gracie Schmidt doubled home another run to give Stratford a 2-0 lead in the opening inning.

The Tigers (11-6, 5-4 Marawood Conference South Division) tacked on single runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings on RBI hits by Tria Tubbs, Emma Roeper and Laney Pankratz.
