Marshfield’s Lonsdale finishes 18th in uneven bars at 2024 WIAA State Gymnastics Championships

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Marshfield’s Solenne Lonsdale finished 18th in the uneven bars at the 2024 WIAA State Gymnastics Championships, which held individual events on Saturday at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School.

Lonsdale had a score of 8.483 to take 18th in the event as the lone Marshfield athlete to qualify for this year’s state meet.

Kaylee Stoeger of Franklin/Muskego won the event with a score of 9.767.

Annika Rufenach of Verona/Edgewood won the vault with a score of 9.817 and was the Division 1 all-around champion with a final score of 37.967.

Sam Burge of Mukwonago/Kettle Moraine won the other two events, taking first in the balance beam competition with a score of 9.533 and winning the floor exercise with a score of 9.467.

Franklin/Muskego won the Division 1 team title on Friday with a score of 147.717, nearly a full point in front of Verona/Edgewood (146.817).
