AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale boys basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Weyauwega-Fremont 59-48 on Saturday night at Auburndale High School.
The Eagles trailed 23-22 at halftime before outscoring Weyauwega-Fremont 37-25 in the second half to pull away and improve to 7-1 this season.
Blake Raab made three 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead Auburndale. Thomas Aue added 12 points and six rebounds, and Peyton Weinfurter finished with nine points and seven rebounds in the win.
Bryce Magdanz had four 3-pointers and totaled 14 points for Weyauwega-Fremont (3-6).
Auburndale hosts Neillsville on Monday at 6 p.m.
