Stratford wins three events, Auburndale one at Marawood Conference Indoor Track & Field Meet

STEVENS POINT – Stratford won three events and Auburndale one at the 2025 Marawood Conference Indoor Track & Field Meet on Monday at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Connor Kreft won the boys triple jump with a leap of 41 feet, 5 inches, Cree DeFoe finished first in the boys 3,200 meters in 10:09.07, and Brianna Sherden took first in the girls long jump with a jump of 15-11 for Stratford.

Auburndale’s lone win came from the girls 3,200 relay team, which won in 10:30.08.

Sherden also placed second in the girls 60 meters (7.91 seconds) and the 200 (26.14), Kayla Casperson was runner-up in both the girls 1,600 (5:35.84) and 3,200 (12:11.50), and Coltan Breit had second-place finishes in the 60 (7.40) and the long jump (20-1) for Stratford.

Also placing second for Stratford were Zander Zawislan in the boys 200 (23.80), the boys 800, 1,600 and 3,200 relays, the girls 800 relay, and Emily Rundle in the girls triple jump (32-5).

Auburndale had runner-up finishes from Logan Nagel in the boys shot put (47-11), Gracie Hasenohrl in the girls pole vault (8-6) and the 1,600 girls relay.

Team scores were not reported.
