The 2011 WIAA state softball playoffs kicked off Thursday with regional quarterfinals in Divisions 2, 3 and 4.
The winners move on to regional semifinals on Tuesday, May 31, with regional finals scheduled for June 2. Sectional semifinals are set for June 7, with sectional finals on June 10 and the WIAA State Softball Tournament slated for Goodman Field on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison on June 16-18.
The Division 1 tournament begins with regional semifinals on May 31. The Division 1 brackets will be released Thursday.
