GREENWOOD – Greenwood knocked off Spencer for the third time this season, blanking the Rockets 5-0 in a WIAA Division 4 baseball regional final on Wednesday.
Spencer reached the regional final by blasting Loyal 14-1 in a regional semifinal on Wednesday. The Rockets finish their season with a 10-8 record.
Greenwood, the undefeated champion of the Cloverbelt Conference East Division, improves to 22-1 and will take on Athens in a sectional semifinal at 11 a.m. June 7 at Abbotsford.
Rosholt and Wausaukee play in the second semifinal at 1 p.m., with the championship game slated for 4 p.m.
