The WIAA State Girls Soccer Tournament concluded Saturday with championship games in three divisions at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee.
Appleton North won the Division 1 championship, the first in school history, with a 1-0 win over Waukesha West.
Madison Edgewood, making its third straight state tournament appearance, won the Division 2 championship game 1-0 over Green Bay Notre Dame. Edgewood also won the D-2 title in 2009.
Kettle Moraine Lutheran also matched its 2009 championship with a 1-0 win over Wisconsin Rapids Assumption in the Division 3 title game. This year was Assumption’s first trip to the state tournament.
