Columbus Catholic girls tennis team edges Rhinelander

RHINELANDER – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team improved to 3-0 in the Great Northern Conference with a 4-3 win over Rhinelander on Thursday.

The Dons’ top two singles players and doubles teams won in straight sets.

Elizabeth Manlick won at No. 1 singles and Scout Inman at No. 2 singles by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores. The No. 1 doubles team of Abby Gotz and Nikki Hertel, and the No. 2 team of Riley Roehl and Daniela Ceron each won 6-2, 6-1 for Columbus.

Columbus hosts Antigo on Tuesday.
