UW-Marshfield/Wood County volleyball splits at UW-Marathon County

WAUSAU – The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County volleyball team split a pair of matches on Friday at a triangular meet held at UW-Marathon County.

The Maruaders lost to UW-Marathon 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 26-24) and defeated Northcentral Technical College 2-0 (25-21, 25-12).

Lindsay Gotz had 14 kills and six blocks, Staci Suda had four blocks and Kimberly Masephol had 64 assists to lead the UW-Marshfield/Wood County attack.

The Marauders host UW-Baraboo on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. for Play 4 Pink night. The team will be hosting a fund-raiser for breast cancer research. It is the final regular-season match of the season for UW-M/WC.
