WAUSAU – Justin Sternweis, Tristan Wilson and Kane Seubert earned pins for Marshfield but the Tigers wrestling team came up just short in a 33-31 loss at Wausau East on Thursday night.
Mitch Hertel won by major decision and Ian Gaertner, Brandon Baltus and Austin Mahoney also posted victories for the Tigers.
Marshfield is off until the Wisconsin Valley Conference Tournament at Wausau West on Feb. 4.
