The WIAA State Girls Hockey Tournament concluded Saturday as the Central Wisconsin Storm on its second state title, beating Onalaska 6-2 in the championship game at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
The Storm, a co-op team comprised of Wausau West, Wausau East, Mosinee and D.C. Everest high schools, was making their fifth straight state tournament appearance. They also won the state title in 2008.
