NEENAH – Elizabeth Manlick finished second at No. 1 singles as the Marshfield Columbus Catholic girls tennis team competed at the St. Mary Central Zephyr Tournament on Wednesday.
Manlick went 2-1, losing to defending WIAA Division 2 state champion Ellie Zimmermann of Green Bay Notre Dame in the No. 1 singles championship match.
Also earning a victory for the Dons was Beth Frericks, who finished sixth at No. 3 singles.
Columbus opens Great Northern Conference play Thursday at Antigo.
