KRONENWETTER – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys soccer team grabbed its first win of the season, blasting Northland Lutheran 6-1 in a Mid-State Soccer Conference game Monday at Northland Lutheran High School.
Sean McCarthy, Christian Payant and Jared Fleischmann each scored twice for the Dons, who improve to 1-1 in the conference and 1-4 overall.
Columbus hosts Stevens Point Pacelli in a Mid-State game at 5 p.m. Thursday at Griese Park.
