Stratford boys basketball jumps out to big lead, cruises past Abbotsford

STRATFORD – Andrew Marcis scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Stratford boys basketball team to a 60-39 win over Abbotsford in a nonconference game Monday night at Stratford High School.

Marcis made 7 of 10 shots from the field and 8 of 8 from the free throw line for the Tigers.

Stratford dominated from the start, jumping out to a 34-11 lead by halftime.

Nolan Bargender added 12 points and had seven rebounds for Stratford (10-5).

Stratford plays again Thursday at Northland Lutheran.
