STRATFORD – Andy Bliven scored a league-high 39 points to lead A&B Process Systems to a 98-57 win over Marawood Construction during Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League play Sunday.
Tony Schultz added 20 points for A&B. Bryan Weichelt and Mark Mews each scored 20 for Marawood.
In other action Sunday:
*Barry Messman had 37 points as Resource Recovery drilled USBancorp 100-78. Chris Newbury had 28 points and Malachi David scored 25 for USBancorp.
*The Shack beat Kafka Granite 77-68 behind Marshal Lehman’s 25 points. Brian Heusi led Kafka with 20 points.
*Three players scored more than 20 points to lift Lindsey Bar & Grill to a 90-70 victory over After Hours. Lee Follen and Brant Serchen each had 23 points and Dan Dargenio had 21 for Lindsey.
*Victory Apparel beat Arby’s 47-44. No leading scorers were provided.
*Down Under Bar & Grill whipped Southway Pub 103-56. Jake Frombach had 29 points, Brandon Chrouser had 22 and John Leonhardt scored 20 for Down Under. Down Under also cruised past Country Wireless 117-69. Frombach had 32 points and Leonhardt 28 for Down Under. Jake Kolb led Country Wireless with 20 points.
*Kizzy & Sue’s Bar & Grill topped Smazel’s Hunters Choice 112-75. Jay Fuehrer had 27 points, and Aaron Linzmeier and Neal Weiler each had 21 for Kizzy’s. Chris Hannula had 25 points and Brian Bartnick scored 24 for Smazel’s.
