WAUSAU – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team’s season came to an end Thursday as it dropped a WIAA Division 4 regional semifinal to Wausau Newman Catholic 3-0 at Newman Catholic High School.
The top-seeded Cardinals won 25-11, 25-14, 25-9, to advance to Saturday’s regional final, where they will host Owen-Withee.
Tara Brock had 12 assists and 12 digs, Sierra Litwatis also had 12 digs and Kendra Baierl had five kills for Columbus Catholic.
