Spencer girls basketball loses at Colby

COLBY – Colby held Spencer to six points in the first half and cruised to a 67-31 win over the Rockets in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Friday night at Colby High School.

Colby led 13-2 after one quarter and 31-6 by halftime, putting away the outcome early.

Spencer had 20 turnovers and Colby had 16 more shot attempts than the Rockets.

Brooke Kettleborough had 11 points for Spencer (2-9, 1-8 Cloverbelt East).

Lyddia Calmes had 15 points and Lisa Horacek had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Hornets (9-4, 7-3 Cloverbelt East).

Spencer plays at Owen-Withee on Monday.
