WISCONSIN DELLS – A number of local athletes and coaches will be participating in the 2014 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association State All-Star Games this Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, at JustAGame Fieldhouse.
Auburndale High School coaches Chad Weinfurter, Matt Klawitter and Mike Gehrke, and Marshfield Columbus Catholic coach Joe Konieczny, will lead the Division 4 North boys team on Saturday in a game against the South team at 9 a.m.
Auburndale standouts Blake Anderson and Isaac Castellano will play for the D-4 North squad.
Columbus Catholic’s Jared Fleischmann and Owen-Withee’s Albert Goerlitz will play for the Division 5 North boys team, and Marshfield’s Lucas Zuiker will play for the Division 1 North squad.
Local girls participating will be Neillsville’s Jenny Lindner for the Division 3 North team, and Owen-Withee’s Bailey Karaba, Wisconsin Rapids Assumption’s Brittney Birkhauser, and Wausau Newman Catholic’s Chloe Chapman and Madison Tubbs on the Division 5 North team.
