Marshfield boys track grabs four firsts at West

WAUSAU – Dan Stanley won the 100 meters and Jeremy Robinson took first in the triple jump to lead the Marshfield boys track and field team at the Wausau West Pentangular on Tuesday.

Stanley and Robinson also teamed with Riley Gebelein and Logan Schmitz to win the 800-meter relay, and Art Burkart won the 800 to round out the Tigers’ victories.

Marshfield finished third in the team standings. Wausau West won with 165 points, Antigo was second with 115.5 and Marshfield third with 104.5.

Aaron Anderson was second in the 3,200 and the 3,200 relay team of Dan Drach, Colin Korlesky, Kyle Meek and Anderson also placed second for Marshfield.

The Tigers will be back in action next Tuesday at the Wood County Meet at Pittsville.
