SPENCER – The Spencer volleyball team opened up its Cloverbelt Conference East Division schedule with a 3-0 win over Owen-Withee on Thursday night at Spencer High School.
Spencer won 25-20, 25-15, 25-10.
Macie Weber had 12 kills and three blocks, Jenna Rogers had 14 digs, and McKenzie Bainer had 23 assists and four service aces for the Rockets.
“It was a nice way to start conference play, but we still have a lot to work on,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “Saturday will be a huge test to see if we are improving.”
The Rockets play at the Auburndale Invitational on Saturday.
