STRATFORD – The 2015-16 Stratford STAR Men’s Basketball League started its season on Sunday night with games in three divisions.
Here is a look at the results:
A Division
*Dan Dargino scored 40 points and Cain Trunkel added 31 as Prudential/Success Realty beat USBancorp 107-86 in the highest scoring game of the night. Chris Newburry had 35 points to top USBancorp.
*A&B Process Systems defeated Victory Apparel 76-71. Nate Lehman led A&B with 27 points.
B Division
*Arby’s beat Wick Auto Body 80-73. Mack Scheppler led Arby’s with 26 points and Jordan Blomberg was the leading scorer for Wick with 21.
*Resource Recovery beat Kafka Foresty 65-49.
C Division
*Kyle Davis had a league-high 42 points as Davis Auto whipped Nutz Deep 82-43.
*BSI Stainless won by forfeit over Country Wireless.
