Stratford girls basketball sneaks past Edgar in overtime

EDGAR – The Stratford girls basketball team won its second game in a row to start the season, edging Edgar 50-47 in overtime in a nonconference game Tuesday at Edgar High School.

Sammy Griesbach had 14 points and eight assists, and Macie Frueh had 12 points and four assists for the Tigers (2-0).

Savannah Schillinger added eight points, and led the Tigers with 10 rebounds and six steals.

Lindsey Schneeberger had 11 points to lead Edgar (1-1).

Stratford’s next game is Dec. 1 at home against Colby.
