WABENO – The Spencer girls basketball team’s season ended Tuesday night with a 51-47 loss to Wabeno/Laona in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal at Wabeno High School.

The Rockets end their season with a 13-10 record.

No. 8 seed Wabeno/Laona (18-5) moves on to a regional semifinal at No. 1 seed Marathon (19-3) on Friday night.

Wabeno/Laona had 19 offensive rebounds and 17 second-chance points.

Nadia King had 14 points and Sydney Kind had nine points and nine rebounds for the Rockets.
